  The "Buzz" about us

Jaclyn Theeck began working with my son when he was 17 months old. He had severe apraxia and a hearing impairment. Joey had such a difficult time producing any sounds, let alone words, yet Jaclyn was persistent and continued to push Joey to do his best. Jaclyn's understanding of how to work with children and her impressive speech techniques are the reasons Joey is where he is today. I credit Jaclyn's support, understanding, persistence, and all around love for her job to be Joey's backbone of learning and speaking. She is an extremely gifted speech therapist and I can't thank her enough for being there for my son.”

“Our son Eric made great strides while working with Jaclyn. She is everything you want in a speech pathologist -- thorough, caring, tries different approaches and she really cares for the child she's working with.”

-Parent of Eric

“My son made tremendous progress with his speech this year.  He began speech therapy with very few words and ended the year talking, talking, and more talking.  Miss Jaclyn opened his world up to new possibilities.  I thank Jaclyn for her hard work and believing that he could do it.  Jaclyn is very special and does excellent work.”

“When we first met Jaclyn, our daughter Sydney was a frustrated 2 year old who was just trying to find her voice to communicate the simplest of things.  Working with Jaclyn has changed Sydney.  She continues to build confidence in her speech everyday.  With the help that Jaclyn has provided her and our family she now is understood and is talking like a happy toddler should.  We are just so grateful for Jaclyn's expertise in her field and most importantly for the compassion she shows our daughter each week in helping her to meet her goals."

-The Elfus Family

AndrewOur son Andrew is 10-years-old and has a cognitive delay and hearing loss that affects his speech, language, and learning.  Jaclyn was able to teach Andrew consonant vowel consonant blends – something his teachers perhaps didn’t think to try.  Jaclyn’s knowledge and persistence in working with Andrew helps us better understand how to work with him in the home setting.  Her collaboration with school has been instrumental in recognizing Andrew’s abilities.

Today, thanks to Jaclyn and Andrew’s hard work, he knows to use “all his words” with little prompting!  His language has increased tremendously and shows continuous progress.

We are grateful for Jaclyn’s belief in children, ability to share her wealth of knowledge; and are most appreciative of Jaclyn’s compassion for all.
